SLWM Engineers

Location : Kerala

Educational Qualification:

• BE (Civil /Environmental)

Year of Experience:

• Minimum 7-8 Years of experience in rural SLWM
• Experience of working on designing, planning and implementation of rural SLWM technologies
• Experience in solid and liquid waste management, preferably in Kerala

• Preparation of technical notes, feasibility study reports, DPRs, technical designs and estimates for SLWM technologies
• Develop strategies and action plans for implementing SLWM solutions.
• Preparation of technical resource material focusing on working principles and ground implementation of various technologies
• On site support for execution and construction monitoring
• Delivering technical sessions during national and state level trainings
• Support to field level functionaries on execution of technical aspects on ground and O&M of technologies
• Visit to states and providing support to state level government officials for roll out of technical aspects of SBM
• Research and explore emerging technologies for improved waste management.

Desired Skills:

• Good understanding of rural sanitation technologies and implementation aspects
• Ability to work in relevant software (e.g., GIS, AutoCAD, Microsoft excel, etc).
• Good drafting and documentation skills
• Ability to work in and coordinate multidisciplinary teams
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, regulatory agencies, and other stakeholders
• Able to manage projects end to end: project planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation.

Contractual / Permanent / Consultant:

• Consultant for the period of 6 months (extended based on experience)
