Site Supervisor

Job responsibilities

• Project and crew management: Supervise painting crews and subcontractors, assign daily tasks, and monitor progress to ensure project milestones are met.
• Quality control: Conduct regular inspections of surface preparation and paint application to ensure work adheres to project specifications and quality standards.
• Site safety: Implement and enforce strict health and safety protocols, conduct safety briefings, and ensure the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Resource management: Order, manage, and track the inventory of painting materials, equipment, and other supplies to minimize waste and avoid delays.
• Blueprint interpretation: Read and interpret technical drawings and project blueprints to confirm the painting work is in line with the design and specifications.
• Client and stakeholder communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, project managers, and other trades, providing regular updates on project status and resolving issues.
• Budget adherence: Ensure projects are completed within the specified budget by monitoring material and labor costs.
• Reporting and documentation: Prepare and submit daily or weekly progress reports detailing project status, resource use, and any issues encountered.

Essential skills and qualifications

• Technical knowledge: Strong understanding of civil construction processes, combined with specific knowledge of painting and coating applications for various surfaces.
• Leadership: Proven ability to lead, motivate, and manage a team of workers to achieve project goals.
• Problem-solving: Aptitude for identifying and quickly resolving issues that arise on the job site to avoid delays and cost overruns.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for coordinating with project managers, clients, and team members.
• Organizational skills: Strong time management and organizational abilities to handle multiple tasks and maintain accurate project records.
• Attention to detail: A keen eye for detail to ensure high-quality workmanship and adherence to project specifications.
• Safety awareness: Deep understanding of health and safety regulations and the ability to conduct risk assessments.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
