Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) II

As a Site Reliability Engineer II, your role will involve covering the intersection of Software Engineer and Systems Administrator. You will be responsible for creating code and managing the infrastructure on which the code runs. Your primary goal will be to ensure that all SLAs are met without being exceeded, in order to balance performance and reliability with operational costs. Key Responsibilities: - Execute defined tasks and contribute to problem-solving with specific guidance from manager/Other SREs. - Prioritize tasks that add the most value and deliver high-quality results for customers and stakeholders. - Participate in core team processes such as planning, on-call rotations, incident triage, and metrics review. - Automate simple tasks to reduce toil in systems efficiently. - Identify and suggest improvements to system utilization. - Interview and assess candidates to help build a diverse and talented team, providing timely, detailed, and evidence-based interview feedback. - Operate services and systems sustainably with a focus on reliability, efficiency, automation, and debugging. - Learn technologies in use and work against plans and schedules. Qualifications Required: - Strong understanding of Software Engineering and Systems Administration. - Experience in automation of tasks. - Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and deliver high-quality results. - Good communication skills for collaborating with team members and stakeholders. - Familiarity with core team processes such as incident triage and metrics review.
