Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Product Presentation:

  • Curate and display products effectively on the website to drive customer engagement.
  • Ensure products are well-represented through clear imagery, detailed descriptions, and optimized navigation.
  • Regularly update and refresh product listings to maintain a visually appealing and relevant online store.
  1. Sales Performance:

  • Analyze sales data and KPIs to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Implement merchandising strategies to maximize conversion rates and overall sales performance.
  • Continuously monitor product performance, adjusting strategies to drive sales and profitability.
  1. Content Management:

  • Work with the content team to ensure product descriptions, images, videos, and other related content are accurate, engaging, and SEO-optimized.
  • Manage and update the site's product catalogs and promotions.
  • Ensure that all product information is consistent across all touchpoints, including the website, social media, and email campaigns.
  1. User Experience:

  • Ensure seamless site navigation and customer journeys to provide an intuitive and enjoyable shopping experience.
  • Identify pain points in the user experience and work with the UX/UI team to address issues and improve the shopping process.
  • Conduct A/B testing and data analysis to continuously improve site usability and conversion.
  1. Competitor Analysis:

  • Monitor and analyze competitors merchandising strategies, product offerings, pricing, and promotions.
  • Identify trends and insights to develop competitive merchandising strategies.
  • Stay updated with industry best practices and apply them to the site merchandising strategy.
  1. Product Bundles:

  • Create and promote product bundles to increase average order value and cross-sell opportunities.
  • Identify and curate relevant products for bundling, based on customer preferences and sales trends.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to develop promotional campaigns around product bundles.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Master's degree

    in Business, Marketing, ECommerce, or a related field.
  • 3+ years

    of experience in eCommerce merchandising, preferably in an online retail environment.
  • Strong

    analytical skills

    , with the ability to use data to drive decision-making.
  • Excellent understanding of

    UX/UI principles

    and how they affect the online shopping experience.
  • Proficiency with web analytics tools

    (e.g., Google Analytics) and conversion optimization techniques.
  • Proficient in

    content management systems (CMS)

    and

    eCommerce platforms

    (Shopify, Magento, etc.).
  • Familiarity with

    A/B testing tools

    , web analytics (Google Analytics, etc.), and conversion optimization.
  • Strong

    communication skills

    , with the ability to work cross-functionally with different teams.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with

    Buying, Marketing, IT
