Description
As a proactive and experienced Site Manager for Interiors & Supervision, your role involves managing the execution of high-end interior works and overall site activities for a boutique hospitality project located in the mountains of Uttarakhand. Your responsibilities include: - **Interior Works Management:** - Oversee all interior fit-out activities such as finishes, custom joinery, lighting, flooring, etc. - Ensure execution aligns with architectural and interior drawings, specifications, and quality standards. - Coordinate with design teams, contractors, and craftsmen to bring boutique design intent to life. - **Site Supervision:** - Manage day-to-day activities on-site, ensuring coordination between civil, interior, and services work. - Monitor work progress, material usage, workforce deployment, and site safety. - Maintain site cleanliness, material storage, and proper execution sequencing. - **Quality & Design Control:** - Conduct regular quality checks on finishes and workmanship. - Implement corrective measures for deviations from approved standards or design intent. - Maintain high attention to detail, especially in hand-crafted or locally sourced elements. - **Vendor & Contractor Coordination:** - Supervise subcontractors, suppliers, and on-site labor for timely and quality deliverables. - Monitor deliveries, handling, storage, and installation of interior materials and FF&E. - Resolve on-site technical and logistical challenges promptly. - **Reporting & Documentation:** - Maintain daily site logs, progress reports, and photographic documentation. - Highlight potential delays or cost overruns to the project manager or client representative. - Assist in tracking BOQs, material approvals, and site instructions. **Qualifications:** - Degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or Construction Management. - 5-10 years of site experience with a background in interior fit-outs, preferably in hospitality or luxury residential projects. - Experience in remote, high-altitude, or challenging terrain preferred. - Ability to read and interpret architectural/interior drawings, GFCs, and services layouts. - Familiarity with traditional materials, sustainable techniques, and artisanal detailing is an asset. **Key Skills:** - Site supervision and coordination - Interior execution and finishing - Vendor and labor management - Problem-solving and adaptability in remote settings - Communication and reporting - Basic proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD (or equivalent), and project tracking tools **Soft Skills:** - Self-driven and solution-oriented - Strong interpersonal and team management skills - Patience and adaptability to local culture and working conditions - Passion for craftsmanship and context-driven design In addition to the above details, the remuneration for this position is competitive and will be based on your experience and the project scope.,
