As a Site Manager Interiors & Supervision for a boutique hospitality project in the mountains of Uttarakhand, your role will involve managing the execution of high-end interior works and overall site activities. Your responsibilities will include: - **Interior Works Management**: - Overseeing all interior fit-out activities such as finishes, custom joinery, lighting, and furnishings. - Ensuring execution aligns with architectural and interior drawings, specifications, and quality standards. - Coordinating with design teams, contractors, and craftsmen to bring boutique design intent to life. - **Site Supervision**: - Managing day-to-day activities on-site, ensuring smooth coordination between civil, interior, and services work. - Monitoring work progress, material usage, workforce deployment, and site safety. - Ensuring site cleanliness, material storage, and proper execution sequencing. - **Quality & Design Control**: - Conducting regular quality checks on finishes and workmanship. - Implementing corrective measures where work deviates from approved standards or design intent. - Maintaining high attention to detail, especially in hand-crafted or locally sourced elements. - **Vendor & Contractor Coordination**: - Supervising subcontractors, suppliers, and on-site labor for timely and quality deliverables. - Monitoring deliveries and ensuring proper handling, storage, and installation of interior materials and FF&E. - Resolving on-site technical and logistical challenges in real-time. - **Reporting & Documentation**: - Maintaining daily site logs, progress reports, and photographic documentation. - Highlighting potential delays or cost overruns to the project manager or client representative. - Assisting in tracking BOQs, material approvals, and site instructions. **Qualifications** required for this role include a degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or Construction Management, along with 5-10 years of site experience in interior fit-outs. Experience in remote or challenging terrains is preferred, as well as the ability to read architectural/interior drawings and interpret GFCs. Familiarity with traditional materials and artisanal detailing is considered an asset. Your **Key Skills** should encompass site supervision, interior execution, vendor and labor management, problem-solving in remote settings, communication, and proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD (or equivalent). Soft skills such as being self-driven, solution-oriented, strong interpersonal skills, patience, adaptability to local culture, and a passion for craftsmanship and context-driven design will be beneficial in this role.
