Painting Site In-Charge

Key Responsibilities:

1. Leadership & Team Supervision: Lead and supervise a team of painting professionals, ensuring that tasks are completed on time, safely, and to a high standard. Provide coaching and mentoring to less experienced painters.

2. Project Oversight: Manage the scheduling, planning, and execution of painting projects across various areas of the facility or job site. This includes ensuring sufficient resources, such as labor and materials, are available and properly allocated.

3. Quality Control: Inspect the work of painters to ensure it meets the required quality standards, specifications, and project timelines. Conduct quality assurance checks on the preparation, priming, and painting processes.

4. Surface Preparation: Oversee and instruct the preparation of surfaces to be painted, ensuring that cleaning, sanding, priming, and any necessary repairs are performed according to industry standards.

5. Material Management: Oversee the procurement, inventory management, and use of paint, coatings, and related materials. Ensure that materials are stored safely and used efficiently.

6. Safety & Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to safety regulations, environmental standards, and best practices in all painting activities. Ensure that painters use proper personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow safety procedures.

7. Ensure proper handling, storage, and usage of painting and insulation materials.

08. Troubleshooting & Problem Solving: Identify issues during the painting process (such as defects in application, drying, or coating failures) and take appropriate corrective actions to resolve them.

09. Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed records of painting projects, including progress reports, material usage, labor hours, and any challenges encountered. Report on project status to management as required.

10. Equipment Maintenance: Ensure all painting equipment and tools are in proper working condition. Arrange for any necessary repairs or replacements.
