Job Title: Waterproofing Engineer

Job Summary:
The Waterproofing Engineer is responsible for designing, planning, and implementing waterproofing systems to protect structures from water ingress. This role involves working on Government i projects to ensure the durability and structural integrity of buildings through proper waterproofing techniques and materials.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct site inspections and identify areas prone to water leakage or dampness.
Develop waterproofing plans, specifications, and detailed drawings in coordination with the design and structural teams.
Select appropriate waterproofing materials (e.g., membranes, coatings, sealants, admixtures) based on project requirements and environmental conditions.
Supervise waterproofing application works to ensure compliance with approved designs, specifications, and safety standards.
Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and suppliers for waterproofing execution.
Review and approve shop drawings and material submittals related to waterproofing systems.
Perform quality assurance and control (QA/QC) checks during and after waterproofing installation.
Troubleshoot and recommend remedial solutions for existing structures with leakage or dampness problems.
Prepare inspection reports, technical documentation, and maintenance guidelines.
Stay updated with new technologies and materials in the field of waterproofing engineering.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
Minimum 5 years of experience in waterproofing design and site supervision.
Strong knowledge of waterproofing systems for basements, roofs, tunnels, and water-retaining structures.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
