Site Engineer Sal range: 50-70k based on capabilities Tuesday day off Project location: Hoskote Languages: Must know Kannada , Hindi and English fluently Key Responsibilities: 1. Project Planning and Infrastructure Execution: * Assist in planning and scheduling of plotted development works including internal roads, stormwater drains, sewage lines, electrical ducting, water supply networks, overhead tanks, and plot boundary works. * Coordinate with Project Managers, contractors, and surveyors to ensure effective resource allocation and smooth execution. 2. Site Supervision and Execution Monitoring: * Supervise day-to-day site activities ensuring adherence to layout plans, engineering drawings, and design specifications. * Monitor execution progress for each infrastructure component and ensure milestone-based delivery across phases of development. * Validate plot dimensions, facing, and setbacks on-ground as per master layout. 3. Technical Support and Problem Solving: * Provide on-site technical support to resolve issues related to alignment, excavation, material usage, or contractor execution gaps. * Interpret civil, electrical, and plumbing drawings accurately for the execution team. 4. Quality Control and Material Verification: * Ensure quality of construction materials like concrete, aggregates, pavers, pipes, etc., is as per project standards. * Conduct periodic inspections and quality audits across all infrastructure works. * Implement quality control protocols and snag rectification processes. 5. Safety Management: * Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols at site, especially around machinery, trenching, and electrical works. * Conduct routine safety checks and ensure contractor teams are equipped with PPE and follow site safety practices. 6. Coordination and Reporting: * Liaise with internal teams (Planning, Sales, Civil HOD), external consultants, and statutory authorities for smooth execution. * Prepare daily progress reports, material consumption logs, and work checklists. * Escalate deviations, delays, or constraints promptly to project heads. 7. Documentation and Record Keeping: * Maintain site records including layout validation reports, work completion checklists, material inward registers, and change notes. * Ensure systematic documentation of pre-and-post development progress through photos, drone surveys, and drawings. 8. Team Supervision and Vendor Coordination: * Supervise junior engineers, site supervisors, and vendor workforce. * Ensure proper deployment of labor and equipment based on project schedule. Educational Qualifications: * Bachelors or Diploma degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management. Required Skills and Competencies: * Strong knowledge of plotted development infrastructure components and standards. * Good command over civil execution techniques, materials, and design interpretation. * Familiarity with AutoCAD, MS Project/Primavera, and basic surveying tools. * Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills. * Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality and safety. * Ability to handle multiple site fronts and manage pressure during peak phases. Experience: * Minimum 3–5 years of experience in site execution, preferably in plotted development or township infrastructure works. Work Environment: * Field-based role involving site supervision across plotted development locations. * Candidate should be open to travel across various project sites and be comfortable working in outdoor site conditions.
