Site Engineer - Piping

You will play a key role in positioning and winning projects that encompass a variety of services. Collaboration with commercial, project management, engineering, and design technical leaders is essential in creating opportunities for Jacobs to plan, develop, deliver, and operate diverse projects. Your tasks will involve reviewing and understanding the scope of works, as well as the Bill of Quantities (based on the contract provided by the client). A solid understanding of basic engineering principles and familiarity with Standard Codes is necessary. You will supervise to ensure that contractors execute construction activities in compliance with drawings, specifications, and relevant codes/standards. Other duties include studying drawings, obtaining clarifications through RFIs for any discrepancies, reviewing and approving quality plans, inspection & test plans, and work procedures submitted by contractors. Monitoring compliance with quality requirements, issuing quality noncompliance notes, performing tests, coordinating with other discipline engineers, preparing punch lists, scrutinizing and certifying contractors" bills, and maintaining joint measurement records are also part of your responsibilities. To be successful in this position, you should hold a degree in Mechanical Engineering with 8 to 12 years of experience in a leading position, including working in a PMC/EPCM role. Candidates from a consultancy background would be preferred, alternatively, experience with large EPC contractors is also valuable. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with leadership abilities, are essential.
