The company provides end to end solutions from design and engineering, project management as well as post sales services for solar projects. We have installed solar power plants through pay and own (CAPEX) and pay as you go (OPEX) models for our clients across India, as well as in international projects in Sri Lanka and Nepal. About the Role: We are looking for a Site Engineer – O&M to join our team. The candidate will play a critical role in managing and supervising solar operations and maintenance activities, ensuring that on-site work is executed efficiently and in line with the company’s quality standards. The candidate must be a native, preferably residing in or around Chennai, and should be proficient in the Tamil language. Key Responsibilities: Oversee the day-to-day operations of solar project O&M activities on-site. Ensure that timelines and budgets are strictly adhered to. Collaborate with the Central Project Management and O&M teams to ensure smooth site operations and issue resolution. Conduct site surveys, coordinate material handling, and ensure safety standards are upheld. Monitor the performance of solar systems and troubleshoot issues as needed. Liaise with clients and local contractors to ensure expectations are met and address any site-specific concerns. Prepare daily reports and documentation related to site activities, including progress updates and any challenges faced. Educational Qualifications: Diploma or B.Tech in Electrical Engineering / EEE / ECE or related field. Strong understanding of solar PV systems, electrical work, and O&M execution. Familiarity with industry safety standards and practices. Work Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in the solar industry, specifically in Operations & Maintenance (O&M). Candidates who are local and Tamil-speaking will be given preference.
