Role & responsibilities

Site Engineer Civil / Mechanical (Launching Girder) – Nagpur Metro

Location:

Site Engineer (Civil/Mechanical)

Key Responsibilities

Supervise
Launching Girder operations
for metro viaduct construction.
Execution and monitoring of
U-girder / Box girder launching
.
Ensure safe and accurate
erection, alignment, stressing, grouting
and final setting.
Coordinate with
contractor, safety team, and quality team
for smooth execution.
Review and interpret
drawings, method statements, and work procedures
.
Daily monitoring of site activities and reporting progress.
Resolve technical/site issues and escalate critical matters.
Ensure
quality, safety, and adherence to metro construction standards
.
Support inspections with client/consultant (MAHA Metro / GC).
Maintain site documentation, checklists, and daily logs.

Required Skills & Experience

Minimum 5 years
of experience in metro/bridge construction.
Must have hands-on experience with Launching Girder operations.
Strong knowledge of
segmental viaduct, heavy lifting, and erection works
.
Understanding of
safety protocols
for LG & heavy equipment.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Ability to work under tight deadlines and challenging site conditions.
