Erection Engineer Precast

- Degree in civil engineering/mechanical engineering with 8-12 years- experience in erection of precast/prestressed structural members (concrete elements) in projects at critical locations, capable to meet tight construction schedule and able to meet best quality & safety standards.

- Responsible for checking and coordinating fabrication and erection drawings, QA/QC procedures and for the on-site erection works, executing all kinds of concrete structural member erection like columns/beams/walls/slabs etc.

- Must be aware to prepare lifting plans for erection of structural members for approval before erection. Like for e.g. placements of crane, crane boom angle, lifting capacity at that angle and element weight whether can be lifted at that angle.

- Monitor erection activities of structure and equipments at site and check whether or not erection works are in accordance with approved procedures, applicable standards.

- Review the erection procedures prepared by client or employer including planning of temporary platform/supports/devise required for erection works to ensure that the procedures are in line with applicable codes/standards and that the erection works are carried out smoothly as scheduled.

- Setup monthly and weekly site coordination meetings with workers with the objective of establishing project and site status for schedule, construction matters, regulatory compliance and risk analysis etc.

- Knowledge of erection sequence, erection methodology and risk assessment.

- Knowledge of the right equipment’s and tools required for erection, especially cranes and other logistics equipment.

- Must have experience of working with lifting equipment’s/heavy cranes tyres mounted, crawler, tower cranes etc. Shall be one who has worked with minimum 200/250 MT crane capacity.

- The candidate must be able to work effectively with optimal supervision.

- Must be fluent in english, good in computer knowledge, reporting & documentation and leadership & decision-making skills. (excel, CAD, MSP)

- We are looking for erection engineers with civil engineering/mechanical engineering background who must have exposure to the field works directly.
