Site Engineer (Civil)

Job Overview

The Senior Site Engineer is responsible for overseeing day-to-day site operations, managing civil works, coordinating with contractors and vendors, and ensuring the quality and timely execution of construction activities as per project specifications and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

✅ Site Execution & Supervision

• Supervise all on-site construction activities and ensure work is carried out as per drawings and specifications.
• Monitor daily progress and provide direction to site engineers, supervisors, and labor teams.
• Verify materials used and workmanship to maintain quality standards.

✅ Coordination & Communication

• Coordinate with project management, architects, consultants, and contractors to ensure seamless site operations.
• Communicate technical information and updates effectively with internal and external teams.
• Resolve site-related issues promptly to avoid delays.

✅ Quality & Safety Compliance

• Ensure strict adherence to quality standards, construction codes, and safety regulations.
• Conduct regular inspections and quality checks.
• Implement and enforce site safety protocols and accident prevention measures.

✅ Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain daily site logs, progress reports, and material consumption records.
• Assist in preparing project status reports for review by senior management.
• Support in documentation for quality audits and inspections.

✅ Material & Resource Management

• Monitor and manage the usage of construction materials to minimize wastage.
• Coordinate timely delivery of materials, equipment, and labor resources.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• 7 - 10 years of relevant experience in residential/commercial building projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction techniques, materials, and site management.
• Proficiency in reading structural and architectural drawings.
• Good leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Familiarity with tools like AutoCAD, MS Project, and site management software is a plus.

Work Environment

• Primarily based on construction sites with occasional office coordination.
• May require extended working hours based on project timelines.
• Must be comfortable managing multiple activities simultaneously in a dynamic site environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• Day shift

• Performance bonus
