Job Overview The Senior Site Engineer is responsible for overseeing day-to-day site operations, managing civil works, coordinating with contractors and vendors, and ensuring the quality and timely execution of construction activities as per project specifications and safety standards. Key Responsibilities ✅ Site Execution & Supervision Supervise all on-site construction activities and ensure work is carried out as per drawings and specifications. Monitor daily progress and provide direction to site engineers, supervisors, and labor teams. Verify materials used and workmanship to maintain quality standards. ✅ Coordination & Communication Coordinate with project management, architects, consultants, and contractors to ensure seamless site operations. Communicate technical information and updates effectively with internal and external teams. Resolve site-related issues promptly to avoid delays. ✅ Quality & Safety Compliance Ensure strict adherence to quality standards, construction codes, and safety regulations. Conduct regular inspections and quality checks. Implement and enforce site safety protocols and accident prevention measures. ✅ Documentation & Reporting Maintain daily site logs, progress reports, and material consumption records. Assist in preparing project status reports for review by senior management. Support in documentation for quality audits and inspections. ✅ Material & Resource Management Monitor and manage the usage of construction materials to minimize wastage. Coordinate timely delivery of materials, equipment, and labor resources. Required Skills & Qualifications Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering. 7 - 10 years of relevant experience in residential/commercial building projects. Strong knowledge of construction techniques, materials, and site management. Proficiency in reading structural and architectural drawings. Good leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills. Familiarity with tools like AutoCAD, MS Project, and site management software is a plus. Work Environment Primarily based on construction sites with occasional office coordination. May require extended working hours based on project timelines. Must be comfortable managing multiple activities simultaneously in a dynamic site environment.
