Site Engineer (Civil) – Interior Works Desirable

A Site Engineer (Civil) with interior work experience is responsible for supervising both civil and interior fit-out activities at the project site. The role ensures that construction and interior executions adhere to design specifications, quality standards, and project timelines, while coordinating with multiple teams including architects, interior designers, and contractors.

Key ResponsibilitiesCivil Responsibilities

• Supervise all civil construction activities ensuring compliance with structural, architectural, and safety requirements.
• Review and interpret civil drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications.
• Monitor site progress, prepare daily/weekly reports, and coordinate with project managers.
• Conduct quality checks on materials, concrete works, finishing, and structural elements.
• Manage site resources such as labor, equipment, and materials.
• Ensure all works follow safety standards and statutory regulations.

Interior-Focused Responsibilities (Desirable)

• Oversee interior fit-out works such as gypsum partitions, false ceilings, flooring, painting, carpentry, and modular furniture installation.
• Coordinate closely with interior designers, architects, and MEP teams to ensure correct implementation of design details.
• Check and verify interior shop drawings, elevations, and layout plans.
• Ensure finishing quality standards for interior works (e.g., alignment, level, workmanship, materials).
• Manage subcontractors handling interior works and ensure timely completion.
• Raise RFIs and resolve on-site interior design conflicts or technical issues.

Skills Required

• Strong understanding of civil construction techniques and site execution.
• Knowledge of interior fit-out materials, finishing standards, and installation methods.
• Ability to interpret both civil and interior drawings.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and site management tools.
• Excellent coordination and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and quality control procedures.

Educational Qualification

• Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.

Experience

• 2–5 years preferred, with hands-on experience in both civil and interior site execution.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
