Job Description

Key Responsibilities1. Site Execution

  • Supervise day-to-day site work as per drawings and specifications.
  • Coordinate with contractors, labour teams, and vendors to ensure smooth workflow.
  • Check materials, quality, and workmanship at every stage.
  • Ensure all activities are executed as per safety and quality standards.
  • Maintain daily site progress reports, site diary, and manpower records.
  • Monitor subcontractor performance and ensure timelines are met.

2. Billing & Quantity Surveying

  • Prepare RA bills, subcontractor bills, and client bills.
  • Take accurate measurements from site (MB – Measurement Book).
  • Prepare quantities, BOQ updates, rate analysis, and reconciliation reports.
  • Verify and certify contractor bills after checking measurements.
  • Coordinate with QS/Accounts for timely bill submission and approvals.
  • Maintain record of extra items, variation works, and material consumption.

3. Coordination & Documentation

  • Coordinate with architects, consultants, vendors, and client representatives.
  • Follow up on material requirements, deliveries, and approvals.
  • Issue work instructions, checklists, and method statements where required.
  • Assist in preparing weekly/monthly progress reports.
  • Handle inspection with consultants and close NCRs/Snag points.

4. Quality & Safety

  • Ensure the work meets quality standards and approved drawings.
  • Conduct regular checks for workmanship and material quality.
  • Monitor safety practices on site, ensure compliance for workers and contractors.

Skills Required

  • Strong knowledge of civil construction activities.
  • Good understanding of drawings (architectural, structural, MEP).
  • Hands-on experience in billing, measurement, BOQ, and rate analysis.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and basic project management tools.
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple agencies and site challenges.

Preferred Industry

  • Building construction, commercial projects, hotels/resorts, residential high-rise, interiors, PMCs.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Education: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil / Mechanical Engineering.
  • Experience: 2–8 years in building construction, hospitality, or infrastructure projects.
  • Skills Required:
  • Strong knowledge of construction drawings and project specifications.
  • Hands-on experience in finishing, MEP coordination, and structural works.
  • Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD, and basic project management tools.
  • Good communication and team coordination skills.
