Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Site Civil Engineer located in Chennai. The Site Civil Engineer will be responsible for overseeing and managing civil engineering projects from inception to completion. Daily tasks include designing civil engineering plans, managing stormwater systems, planning, and coordinating with fellow civil engineers to ensure the successful execution of projects. The Site Civil Engineer will also ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations and contribute to project scheduling and budgeting.

Experience Required: 3 to 4 years of experience in a Corporate interior design company

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Coordination and supervision of workers.

• Provide schedules for workers.

• Assign tasks to construction labourers.

• Communicate with contractors, managers, and other stakeholders, ensuring that all parties remain coordinated.

• Organizing the equipment and manpower necessary to complete the project.

• Responsible for maintaining safety and quality standards

• Keeping detailed records of work at the site.

• Other duties as per management requirement.

• Participating in project review meetings for evaluating project progress.

• Preparing the project schedule, determining technical specifications & preparing plans as per the specification and guidelines.

• Implementing the knowledge of furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E), architectural/interior finishes, lighting, art signage, colour, and materials to carry out design intent.

• Ability to interact with senior management, external client organizations and vendors

• Responsible for smooth execution and completion of all corporate projects.
