Job Description

Role Overview: As an MES IT Engineer, you will be part of the team responsible for designing, configuring, testing, deploying, and supporting MES platforms during the US Pacific Time Zone. Your strong domain expertise with Siemens Opcenter and/or Camstar will be crucial as you partner with the client MES COE team to implement and support world-class Manufacturing Execution systems. Direct involvement in ensuring high-level project goals and objectives are met and supporting operations will be a key aspect of your role. Key Responsibilities: - Partnering with cross-functional team of MES Project Implementation & Camstar/Opcenter Support - Being part of Manufacturing Apps DevOps team in an Agile/Scrum environment - Tracking and reporting operations performance to IT Project & Operations management team - Fostering a culture of value delivery and continuous improvement - Building and maintaining relationships with other IT leads - Supporting the Camstar & Opcenter Application during US Pacific day Qualifications: - A Bachelor or Masters degree in Engineering or equivalent - Over 5 years of hands-on techno-functional experience (70% Technical & 30% Functional) with Siemens Camstar and Opcenter Applications - Deep familiarity with industry-leading MES Applications (Critical Manufacturing, Siemens etc.) - Candidates with Hi-Tech/Semiconductor manufacturing will be preferred. Exposure to Fab Manufacturing will be a great advantage - Coding experience in Equipment automation or SPC system enhancements - Knowledge of at least one OOPs language (e.g. Java, C++, C#, VB) - Working knowledge of at least one of the following: SECS/GEM, Socket communication is a plus - Exposure to MES technologies, including automated data collection, historian applications, visualization, quality and efficiency in manufacturing, SCADA, automated decision control, workflow, database applications, scheduling, and interface to ERP systems or Shop floor equipment will be highly preferred - Exposure to Manufacturing equipment integration through MES connectors (example: KEPServerEx connector) is a plus (Note: Additional Company Details section omitted as it contained repetitive information already covered in the Key Responsibilities and Qualifications sections),
