Shredder maintenance & operations engineer

1. Shredder Operation:

· Operate industrial shredding machinery to process various materials (e.g., metal, plastic, , electronic scraps) according to established procedures and quality standards.

· Monitor the shredding process, including material flow, machine performance, and output quality

2. Maintenance and Repair:

· Perform routine and preventative maintenance on shredder equipment, including lubrication, cleaning, and inspection of components such as hammers, grates, and liners.

· Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical malfunctions and execute timely repairs to restore machine functionality.

· Respond to emergency breakdowns and implement corrective actions swiftly to minimize operational disruptions.

3. Safety and Compliance:

· Adhere strictly to all company safety protocols, regulations, and procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.

· Identify and report potential hazards or unsafe working conditions.

requirements:

· Proven experience operating industrial shredding equipment or similar heavy-duty machinery (e.g., crushers, grinders).

· Ability to perform basic welding and fabrication.

· Willingness to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends, as needed
