Position Overview

The Sales Officer will be responsible for driving showroom sales, providing exceptional customer experience, and achieving revenue targets for the Stanley Studio in Aluva. The role demands a strong flair for consultative selling, an eye for design, and the ability to engage with premium clientele in a sophisticated retail environment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Sales & Business Development

  • Achieve monthly and quarterly showroom sales targets.
  • Handle walk-in customers with professionalism, product knowledge, and brand-oriented communication.
  • Conduct detailed product presentations highlighting design, quality, and lifestyle value.
  • Build and maintain relationships with architects, interior designers, and walk-in clients to drive business.
  • Proactively generate leads through referrals, client follow-ups, and events.

2. Customer Relationship Management

  • Ensure superior customer service and satisfaction through personalized interactions.
  • Manage the complete sales cycle—from enquiry to closure and post-sale follow-up.
  • Maintain client database and follow-up on potential opportunities.
  • Handle client queries and coordinate with back-end teams for order fulfilment and delivery.

3. Visual Merchandising & Showroom Operations

  • Ensure product displays, showroom hygiene, and layout adhere to brand standards.
  • Coordinate with the visual merchandising team for product placement and new arrivals.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the operations team for stock replenishment.

4. Reporting & Coordination

  • Submit daily and weekly sales reports to the Showroom Manager.
  • Work closely with the design, logistics, and installation teams for seamless customer experience.
  • Participate in periodic training sessions to enhance product and brand knowledge.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Education:

    Graduate / Post Graduate in Business Administration, Marketing, or related discipline.
  • Experience:

    3–8 years of experience in premium retail sales (furniture, interior design, luxury home dcor, real estate, or automobile industries preferred).
  • Skills Required:

    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
    • Consultative selling ability
    • Excellent grooming and presentation standards
    • Proficiency in CRM tools & MS Office
    • Passion for design, interiors, and luxury lifestyle products
