Assistant Manager – Should Costing

Experience: 8-12 Years (Min. 5 years in Costing)

Education - B.E. / B. Tech (Mech.)

Role

The role is of Coordination with BD & CFT to meet 10-day turnaround time for RFQ response

• Coordinate with plant engineering - Process

• Coordination with plant leadership team - CapEx

• Coordinate with Finance – Alignment on numbers

Part costing and estimation experience :

• Understanding of market pricing,
• Understanding of machining cost (MHR rates of different equipment in the market, cycle times etc)
• Competition benchmarking,
• Detailed costing understanding for example: RM cost of different grades of Grey Iron / SG Iron + cost of manufacturing + OH + Profitability

Commodities handled: Casting, Casting + Machining, Forging, Forging + Machining, Al Die Casting, Al Die Casting + Machining (Between two candidates we must have 100% exposure. Must have Casting and Forging experience)

Key Skills:

Experience in Foundry, Forging, and Machining supply

to the Automotive Commercial Vehicle Industry.
