Role & responsibilities Power System Analysis Load Flow, Short Circuit, Transient Stability, optimal power flow, optical capacitor placement, P-V and Q-V analysis, Voltage stability , Tap changer optimization study, system security analysis, Insulation coordination and EMT studies (TOV, SFO, FFO, VFTO etc) , Relay Coordination, Harmonic analysis, Flicker, voltage fluctuation and Arc Flash studies. Solar/Onshore Wind/ Off-shore wind/ Battery storage grid code compliance study with steady state P-Q analysis, LVRT, HVRT, FRT and Set point controls. Power Transmission System Master planning studies involving assessment of SVC, STACOM, HVDC interconnection, Frequency stability, UFLS implementation, AGC and small signal stability analysis. Power Distribution System Master planning studies involving PV, Electric vehicle, Battery Storage, reliability analysis and distribution system automation. Preferred candidate profile PSS/E, PSCAD, ETAP, Advanced Excel and Power point is a must. Working experience with DigSilent power factory, Power world simulator, MATLAB, Simulink, PV Syst, Homer, CYMDIST, Arc GIS or PLEXOS will be an added advantage. Python scripting and coding experience of PSS/E, PSCAD , DigSilent power factory and ETAP with demonstrated history of working is an added advantag
