Role Description

Shopify Theme Developer

Qualifications

• Advanced experience in Shopify theme development and Liquid templating
• Strong knowledge of the Shopify Dawn theme and Online Store 2.0 architecture
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and responsive design principles
• Solid understanding of modern web design, UI/UX, and cross-browser compatibility
• Familiarity with performance optimization and SEO best practices in Shopify
• Experience with version control tools like Git
• Ability to troubleshoot theme and app conflicts effectively
• Experience with Figma or Adobe XD is a plus
• Knowledge of other CMS platforms like WordPress, Prestashop, or Opencart is a bonus
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience

  in Shopify theme development.
• On-site & Full-time

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Figma or Adobe XD for interpreting design files.
• Familiarity with headless Shopify or Hydrogen (optional but a bonus).
• Knowledge of performance tools like Lighthouse or Core Web Vitals optimization.
