Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Shopify Theme Developer at TemplateTrip's Surat location . The Shopify Theme Developer will be responsible for building and customizing advanced Shopify themes, working extensively with Liquid code, and leveraging the Shopify Dawn theme structure. The role involves transforming designs into pixel-perfect, high-converting storefronts, optimizing performance, and collaborating closely with design and marketing teams to deliver exceptional user experiences. Qualifications Advanced experience in Shopify theme development and Liquid templating Strong knowledge of the Shopify Dawn theme and Online Store 2.0 architecture Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and responsive design principles Solid understanding of modern web design, UI/UX, and cross-browser compatibility Familiarity with performance optimization and SEO best practices in Shopify Experience with version control tools like Git Ability to troubleshoot theme and app conflicts effectively Experience with Figma or Adobe XD is a plus Knowledge of other CMS platforms like WordPress, Prestashop, or Opencart is a bonus Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field Requirements: 2+ years of experience in Shopify theme development. On-site & Full-time Nice to Have: Experience with Figma or Adobe XD for interpreting design files. Familiarity with headless Shopify or Hydrogen (optional but a bonus).
