The Role:

As a Shopify Store Developer Intern, you will be responsible for setting up, customizing, and maintaining the Shopify storefront for WearWeird.

You’ll work closely with the brand and design teams to ensure the storefront reflects the vibe and aesthetic of the brand while being optimized for performance and sales.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and customize the

  Shopify theme

  according to brand aesthetics and UX principles.
• Create & manage product listings, collections, and navigational flow.
• Implement design customizations using

  HTML, CSS, Liquid, and JavaScript

  .
• Optimize store performance and responsiveness across devices.
• Integrate third-party Shopify apps for enhanced functionality (reviews, upsells, email, etc.).
• Collaborate with design/content teams to ensure visual consistency.
• Ensure SEO best practices and site speed optimization.
• Test and debug across browsers and mobile platforms.

Technical Skillset Required:

• Hands-on experience with

  Shopify platform

  (either live projects or personal projects).
• Knowledge of

  HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript

  , and

  Liquid

  templating language.
• Familiarity with

  Shopify CLI

  , and modern Shopify themes.
• Understanding of e-commerce UX best practices.
• Basic knowledge of

  and performance optimization.
