Shopify Backend Executive

Job Title: Shopify Backend Manager/DeveloperJob Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Shopify Backend Manager/Developer to manage the operational and technical backend of our e-commerce store. This role ensures the store runs smoothly, data is accurate, and third-party integrations function seamlessly to support business operations and enhance the customer experience. Key Responsibilities:

• Platform Management: Organize, manage, and maintain the day-to-day operations of the Shopify admin system, including product uploads, price changes, and collection organization.
• Development & Customization: Develop, test, and deploy backend functionalities and custom solutions for the Shopify store using Liquid, JavaScript, and HTML/CSS.
• Integration & APIs: Implement and manage third-party app integrations and services using the Shopify Admin API, Storefront API, REST, and GraphQL to connect with systems like ERP or CRM.
• Data Management: Ensure data integrity and accuracy across the platform, managing large product catalogs, consolidating SKUs, and handling bulk data imports/exports via CSVs.
• Troubleshooting & Optimization: Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues, bugs, and performance problems to maintain platform stability and site speed.
• Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for backend processes and technical solutions.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including front-end developers, designers, and marketing, to implement new features and ensure cohesive website delivery.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience: Proven experience as a Shopify Developer or E-commerce Catalog Manager with a strong focus on backend operations.
• Technical Proficiency:
• Expert knowledge of the Shopify platform and its admin system.
• Strong proficiency in Shopify's templating language, Liquid.
• Experience with Shopify APIs (Admin and Storefront).
• Familiarity with web technologies: HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
• Knowledge of backend languages such as Node.js, Ruby on Rails, or PHP is a plus.
• Experience with version control systems, specifically Git.
• Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to managing and resolving issues efficiently.
• Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail, especially in data management.
• Communication: Effective communication skills for collaborating with internal teams and external vendors.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹10,538.47 - ₹25,000.00 per month
