Roles and Responsibilities: Production of drawings within appropriate timescale and to a high level of quality by following the specifications & calculations as per best Electrical and MEP engineering standards and practices. Drawings include the following but not limited to: o GFC o Shop Drawings o Elevation Layouts o As built Layouts o Coordination Layouts Ensure the quality of drawings is maintained as per international engineering standards with details on layers, dimensions, clearances, clashes, BOQ references are mentioned. Incorporation of accurate and appropriate details such as client and all project stakeholder names, approval and revision details, dates, drawing status, etc. on all the drawings. Filing and maintenance of all soft copies of drawings in the company archive for future reference and use. Preparing both rough sketches and detailed work with BIM, CAD & NAVIS systems Ability to perform design validation, clash identification and detection of services Performing calculations for materials and weight limitations. Submission and follow up for approval of all drawings with project team, PMC, client and consultant. Communicating with engineers, and incorporating knowledge gained into drawings. Preparing, reviewing and redrafting alongside the engineering team. Ensuring final designs are compliant with building regulations. Identifying and communicating potential design problems to the rest of the team. Quantifying all line items in the GFC, shop drawing or as built layout for the purpose of estimation, material requisition or project use. Carry out regular programme monitoring to identify changes in the status of the projects All jobs as assigned by MD Qualification & Preferred Skills BE/Diploma Engineer, with 3-4 year of experience Minimum 2 years experience in BIM & 3D modelling skills IT Skills MS Office proficient Experience in Google Workspace preferred. Job Title: Project Costing & Production Drawing Lead Fenestration Industry Industry: uPVC, Aluminum & Wooden Doors/Windows Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage the project costing and production drawing teams across India. Drive value engineering initiatives for high-value projects. Add value by automating core technical functions for cost-effective outcomes. Review and validate production drawings (Shop Drawings) on AutoCAD for uPVC, Aluminum, and Wooden door/window systems. Handle complete estimation work , including: Preparation of quotations on Window Maker Cost comparison sheets Design analysis sheets Provide technical support to the Sales and Installation teams. Liaise with vendors and attend meetings with clients and architects. Conduct feasibility checks of design and product before client submission. Offer site-specific, cost-effective solutions , including thermal and acoustic performance options. Required Expertise: Hands-on experience in at least 23 core areas of the fenestration industry: AutoCAD Window Maker Estimation Window section understanding Knowledge of: Wind load calculations & structural reinforcement Cutting layouts and quantity take-offs Glass selection (laminated, tempered, insulated) Aluminum system specifications Air-water-structural testing procedures Proficiency in MS Excel, Word , and documentation Understanding of U-values, SHGC , and acoustic ratings Familiarity with full project cycle : shop drawings fabrication installation Key Individual Accountabilities: Strategic: Strong product understanding, team leadership, and communication.
