Shipping Coordinator

As a Logistics Coordinator at our company, your main responsibility will be to ensure timely updating and reporting of the Shipment Tracking Report for both import and export shipments. You will be coordinating the submission and collection of veterinary permits to facilitate prompt clearance. Additionally, managing the timely submission and renewal of tax and duty exemptions, maintaining an up-to-date exemptions balance sheet for imported raw materials, and proactively renewing licenses before expiry to minimize costs associated with imported raw materials. To be successful in this role, we are looking for candidates with at least 3 years of experience in the logistics field, with knowledge of shipping Incoterms and exposure to HS code-related matters. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential, along with the ability to work independently. Familiarity with forwarding and customs procedures is required, as well as effective communication with both internal and external stakeholders. Your tasks will include keeping track of and controlling container movements to ensure compliance with stipulated turnaround time from discharge to empty return to the depot. You will coordinate and supervise operational activities within the team and cross-functionally, adhering to applicable safety and environmental guidelines and procedures. Analyzing operational processes, evaluating bottlenecks, identifying opportunities, and implementing approved improvements in processes, procedures, and/or systems within the department will be part of your responsibilities. Planning and tracking inbound distribution and transportation in accordance with applicable planning requirements, regulations, and guidelines, as well as coordinating assigned operational improvement projects in line with project management guidelines, will also be key aspects of your role.
