Job Responsibilities:

1. To supervise and direct the technicians for winding & coil assembly to boost the production and to optimize and monitor the Quality and Delivery time of the product to maximize S/Q/D/C achievements.

2. Maintaining the KANBAN Material board and meeting for daily updates to ensure material availability, so that each shift works smoothly.

3. To follow Quality control tools and ensure the highest quality products at all stages of production, and to ensure a reduction in cost on account of non-quality. Ensure the concept of first time right on the shop floor.

4. Motivate, train, evaluate, and develop the people in the team in order to provide the unit with the needed Quality competencies and performance to meet the planned target. Managing an average of 40 manpower in a shift.

5. Implement the best practices in the section to drive the continuous improvement in the process in order to achieve cycle time reduction.

6. Evaluate the feasibility of productivity enhancement possibilities and presentation to the management

7. Handling of VPD operations for individual Windings and Coil assemblies.

8. To guarantee the safety of people, of goods, and the environment, and apply safety rules of the workshop and regulations by implementing improvement actions, conduct safety audits at the workplace periodically.

9. Reviewing designs with the design department to achieve sustainability in manufacturing. 5S + safety Implementation and execution in the shop.

10. Attending Daily Quality Corner meeting.

11. Attending daily GEMBA meeting related to issues & information of Quality, Design, SCM, Store, Production, and others.

12. Coordinating for IMS 9001:2015 QMS internal Audits.

13. Collecting and researching data to calculate manpower per job so that effective use of manpower can be ensured. Preparation of production records & Analysis of the same for finding the scope of improvement.

14. To co-ordination with the concerned departments for smooth manufacturing without any distraction.

15. Make a Weekly and Monthly production plan.
