Job Description

Key responsibilities:

Research potential vendors, Compare and evaluate offers.

Negotiate contract terms of agreement and pricing.

Track orders and ensure timely delivery ensuring quality of purchased products.

Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information and invoices in the internal system (SAP).

Prepare reports on purchases, including cost analyses.

Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed.

Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure proper storage.

Attend trade shows and exhibitions to stay up-to-date with industry trends.

Essential Attributes:

Vendor Management

Understanding of purchasing software (e.g. Ariba or SpendMap)

Understanding of supply chain procedures

Analytical skills

Negotiation skills

SAP working knowledge

Desired Attributes:

Decision Making Skills

Excellent communication skills

Work Experience :
Master s degree in any specialisation or Bachelor s in Engineering with 6 to 10 years of relevant experience in FMCG, Pharmaceuticals or Nutritional Operations.
