As a Shift Incharge - Instrumentation, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the maintenance activities of instrumentation equipment during your shift. Your responsibilities will include: - **Shift Operations**: Overseeing and coordinating instrumentation maintenance activities to ensure all equipment functions correctly and safely. - **Instrumentation Maintenance**: Performing routine tasks like calibration, troubleshooting, and repair on instrumentation equipment. - **Team Supervision**: Providing guidance and support to a team of instrumentation technicians under your supervision. - **Safety and Quality**: Ensuring all work adheres to safety and quality procedures, and that equipment is well-maintained and calibrated. - **Communication**: Effectively communicating with other departments to address instrumentation issues promptly. - **Troubleshooting**: Using specialized tools and techniques to diagnose and resolve instrumentation problems. - **Documentation**: Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities, work orders, schedules, and equipment history. Qualifications required for this role include: - **Education**: Diploma or degree in Instrumentation Engineering or a related field. - **Experience**: 8-15 years of experience in instrumentation maintenance, preferably in a supervisory capacity. - **Technical Skills**: Strong knowledge of instrumentation principles, practices, and equipment, including calibration, troubleshooting, and repair. - **Leadership Skills**: Proven ability to lead and motivate a team effectively. - **Communication Skills**: Ability to communicate efficiently with various departments and stakeholders.
