Shift Incharge - Instrumentation

As an experienced Shift Incharge - Instrumentation, your role will involve overseeing the maintenance activities of instrumentation equipment during your shift to ensure correct and safe functioning. Your responsibilities will include: - Overseeing and coordinating instrumentation maintenance activities, ensuring equipment functionality and safety - Performing routine maintenance tasks like calibration, troubleshooting, and repair on instrumentation equipment - Supervising a team of instrumentation technicians, providing guidance and support - Ensuring work is done following safety and quality procedures, maintaining equipment properly - Communicating effectively with other departments to address instrumentation issues promptly - Troubleshooting instrumentation problems using specialized tools and techniques - Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders and equipment history To qualify for this position, you should have: - Education: Diploma or degree in Instrumentation Engineering or a related field - Experience: Minimum 8-15 years in instrumentation maintenance, preferably in a supervisory role - Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of instrumentation principles, practices, calibration, troubleshooting, and repair - Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and motivate a team - Communication Skills: Effective communication with other departments and stakeholders Additionally, you should be willing to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
