Shift In Charge

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, manage, and monitor daily production schedules and employee shifts.
• Assign tasks to employees, supervise progress, and ensure completion within timelines.
• Achieve daily production goals as per defined cut-off times.
• Train and guide new employees for faster adaptability and productivity.
• Handle customer complaints effectively and perform root cause analysis to implement corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate records such as Daily Production Reports (DPR), Goods Receipt Notes (GRN), and hub returns.
• Ensure efficient utilization of raw materials, minimize waste, and maintain yield as per standards.
• Monitor and enforce product quality, ensuring adherence to specifications.
• Implement FIFO (First In, First Out) for both raw materials and finished goods.
• Prevent product and label mismatches through strict monitoring.
• Share daily reports of raw materials and finished goods with the inventory team.
• Maintain compliance with hygiene and sanitation requirements of plant and equipment.
• Drive continuous improvement in production efficiency and team performance.

Desired Candidate Profile:

• 5–8 years of experience in production/shift supervision.
• Strong leadership, people management, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of production planning, inventory management, and quality standards.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Good communication and reporting skills.
