Position: Shift In-Charge – Process

Location:

Plant-based (Sponge Iron Division)

Qualifications:

• Diploma / Degree in Metallurgy
• OR B.Sc. (PCM – Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics)

Experience:

• 08 – 10 years of relevant experience in Sponge Iron / Steel / Metallurgical industry
• Experience in plant operations, production planning, and shift handling

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise shift operations in the Sponge Iron Division.
• Ensure smooth process flow, production quality, and equipment utilization.
• Monitor process parameters, identify deviations, and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate with maintenance and quality teams for uninterrupted operations.
• Maintain shift logs, production reports, and safety compliance records.
• Train and guide operators and junior staff to achieve production efficiency.
• Ensure adherence to safety, environmental, and statutory guidelines.

Salary Range:

• ₹40,000 – ₹50,000 CTC (per month)
• Additional benefits as per company policy

• Strong knowledge of sponge iron/DRI processes
• Leadership and team-handling ability
• Analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Good communication and reporting ability
