Job Title: Production Officer / Shift in Charge Job Brief You will ensure adherence to safety regulations, manage the production team, and continuously improve production processes. Strategic Leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential. Responsibilities Overseeing production activities and ensuring they are carried out efficiently and effectively Ensuring adherence to safety regulations and protocols Managing the production team and providing leadership and guidance as needed Continuously improving production processes to increase efficiency and reduce waste Troubleshooting issues and resolving problems as they arise Maintaining accurate records of production activities and ensuring they are reported to management on time. Ensure that production is carried out by established standards, policies, and procedures Develop and implement strategies to optimize production processes, minimize waste, and increase efficiency Monitor and evaluate production performance to identify areas for improvement Ensure that all health, safety, and environmental regulations are adhered to Manage the production team and ensure that all staff are trained, motivated, and performing at their best Develop and maintain strong working relationships with other departments to ensure that production targets are met. Verify production reports and other relevant documentation as required Continuously evaluate and improve production processes to ensure that the company remains competitive and profitable Strong leadership and management skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines Good knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations Ability to develop and implement strategies to optimize production processes Maintain a safe workplace. Deliver process improvement ideas that reduce costs or increase productivity. Develop the potential of each associate to improve the team results. Counsel and discipline associates as needed Maintain and monitor the inventory Promote the company's EH&S Policy Zero Accident/ Incident Maintain and implement the 5S practice company's workplace.
