ESL Steel Limited is poising towards debottlenecking of its operations & has expansion plans in Jharkhand state. We are in the process of expanding in 2 phases, first phase is 1.5 MT to 3 MT Brown field project and from 3 MT to 10 MT Green Field Project, to ensure Vedanta’s strong footprint in steel business.

Qualification: B.E/B. Tech in Metallurgy

Roles & Responsibilities

• Ensure environment, health, and safety at workplace with zero harm, zero discharge and zero waste
• Process monitoring, ensure to achieve shift production targets & grade wise production
• Reduction in operational down time.
• Identifying new activities for HIRA & Aspect / Impact.
• Daily shift work management, safety & environment initiative and ensuring safe working conditions.
• Trouble shooting Skills for process variation.
• Co-ordination with Engineers & other shift personnel for smooth functioning of blast furnaces.
• Ensuring good housekeeping & safe working environment

Desired attributes

• Knowledge in Dry GCP/HBS
• Knowledge in PCM operation & Loco /Ladle movement
• Knowledge on corrective actions for parameters deviations.
• Knowledge of reduction of wastage of consumable
