Shift Executive - Production

Role Overview: As a Shift Executive - Production at McCain Foods(India) P Ltd in Mehsana, your primary responsibility is to supervise and coordinate the processing and packing operations to ensure that products are packed within specifications during your shift. You will also be managing production costs by optimizing productivity and yield, while ensuring the safe and effective utilization of staff and equipment. Key Responsibilities: - Manage the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) of your subordinates, ensuring that their performance meets agreed targets. Conduct performance appraisals and provide training and development plans for all subordinates. Ensure all operators are skilled as per their job descriptions. - Communicate effectively with shop floor staff, recognize achievements, and keep them informed of any changes to company procedures or policies. - Identify individual goals and KPIs, develop team capabilities, and measure performance using organizational tools. Demonstrate positive communication and uphold McCain Foods Code of Conduct behaviors to improve teamwork, motivation, and leadership. - Implement a monthly recognition program to enhance engagement and motivation among production staff. Strive to improve voice survey results annually. Qualification Required: - Academic qualification: Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Chemical/Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 5 years of experience. - Competencies required include proficiency in English, understanding of processes, knowledge of efficiency and yield/recovery, familiarity with Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), documentation skills, and understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). - Desired core competencies include excellent communication and coordination skills, strong analytical and decision-making abilities, teamwork skills, and good interpersonal relations with cross-functional teams.
