Job Description

Technical Engineering Requirements:

  • Ensure operation of all equipment/systems in the assigned unit/area
  • Operate and maintain equipment including AHUs, Ventilation units, Chillers, Air Compressors, DG, Pumps, Cooling Towers, and piping of all utilities
  • Maintain building equipment and perform minor maintenance of lab equipment
  • Ensure operations align with requirements and proper documentation completion
  • Complete Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) as scheduled
  • Prepare and review Annual PPM planner and schedules, along with checklists
  • Ensure timely completion of PPMs with accurate documentation
  • Address and resolve breakdowns promptly to minimize downtime
  • Coordinate with teams to generate work orders for maintenance and modifications

Inventory & Spare Parts Management:

  • Ensure availability of required spares and consumables for operations and PPM
  • Maintain inventory levels for equipment spares and consumables like lubricants, bearings, belts, etc.
  • Follow up with Purchasing to ensure timely availability of required materials
  • Track and update spares lists and ensure timely procurement of necessary materials
  • Monitor Indent/CER processes for procuring new material

Compliance & Quality Standards:

  • Ensure GMP compliance and adhere to quality standards
  • Maintain records and annexures as per Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Comply with audit requirements, ensuring proper documentation and data management
  • Ensure building premises remain presentable and meet 5S standards (cleanliness and organization)

Team & Communication:

  • Ensure effective communication with users and team members
  • Conduct daily briefings for employees, cascading operational deliverables, issues, and highlights
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and motivate employees to suggest energy-saving methods

Reporting & Performance:

  • Verify Daily, Weekly, and Monthly reports
  • Report any abnormalities or issues to management for immediate resolution
  • Ensure effective reporting as per management requirements

Project Management:

  • Manage the execution of minor projects under the guidance of technical managers and client's technical management
