Shift Engineer Module maintenance

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Ensure & Follow all safety procedures in work areas in respective shift.
• Co-ordinate with production team for PM planning and CM activity.
• Initiate & Implement Continuous improvement activities.
• Co-ordinate with Respective assistant shift supervisor and FTE for below on daily basis

1. Shift wise Maintenance report

2. Identifying the hindrances which is causing production loss/ High Rejection due to equipment.

3. Attendance report on shift basis

4. Timely pass down meetings

• Ensure 5S standards are practiced on the shop floor and create Safe, clean and organized work area throughout the unit.
• Develop and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions to ensure clarity and consistency in operations.
• Co-ordinate with off roll supervisor for attendance and leave plan of off roll executives.
• Shift Manpower Planning: Plan and allocate manpower effectively across shift to meet production and maintenance requirements.
• Utilize SAP to record all shift activities accurately and ensure timely closure of work orders and Notification entries.
• Training of Subordinates to enhance their skills and ensure adherence to safety and operational standards.
• Shift Critical Breakdown Analysis & Implementation of Improvement Actions:
• Analyse critical breakdowns and downtime incidents to identify root causes and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Spare Requirement and Planning (Shift and Machine Wise).
• Assess spare parts requirements for machines and equipment on the shift and develop a strategic plan for inventory management.
• PM/AM Planning and Completion of Supporting Documents.
• Complete All Documents Related to ISO Audit:
• Ensure compliance with Integrated Management System (IMS) standards by maintaining and updating all related documentation.
• Kaizen and Improvement Identification: Continuously identify opportunities for improvement through Kaizen initiatives and implement sustainable improvements in processes and systems.
