Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Undertaking & Supervising break down maintenance, condition monitoring & preventive maintenance of Mechanical and electrical equipment, intended to reduce machine downtime.
Ensuring the safe working environment.
Controlling & Monitoring inventories of maintenance related materials & spare parts , keeping track with supplier & purchase department, developing new vendor to assist purchase department, putting new requirement of maintenance material & spare parts after in-depth analysis.
Establishing & maintaining all computerized system as required by Department
Preparing report, analyzing data along with field engineers and making recommendation to HOD for improvement in maintenance related problem.
Preparing all maintenance Parameter viz. Down Time, Costing, Utilization Report etc.
Coordination with user departments.
Establishing & maintaining departmental systems and procedures as per ISO 9001, ISO 14000 & OHSAS 18001 requirement
Assisting Departmental Heads by keeping him informed of present situation of Maintenance Department.
Imparting on job training to technicians on various modules.
Initiating process cost reduction measures, including modifying existing processes.
Identifying competent and reliable vendors & specifications & select spare parts.
Working towards plant automation.
Assisting for Installation of New machine or Expansion or New Project.

Preferred candidate profile

Candidate having experience in PEB / fabrication / heavy engineering

2-6 years of Experience in Electrical/Mechanical Maintenance
