Job Description

Purpose/Objective


    Statutory Position under CMR 2017 Reg 32 Shift Electrical Engineer / supervisor will be responsible for supervising Installation, operation and maintenance of HEMM, mechanical equipment’s, Underground Machinery material handling viz- conveyors, CHP, SDL/LHD, Haulage, Road Header, Ensure deployment of key initiatives and communication to maintenance crew at site , well versed with Lifting, Supporting, Machine Guarding and energy isolation. Accountable for Maintenance cost performance, including monthly forecast and variance analysis. Compliance of all statutory conditions, rectification of DGMS violations.

Key Responsibilities of Role


    - Planning & execution of all types of electrical & instrumentation equipment and facilities in OCP & UG Coal Mines - Ensure legal and statutory compliances as per Indian Electricity Rules, DGMS and Other Statutory Bodies - Maintenance of HV, MV & LV electrical equipment & associated switchgears - Preparation and timely submission of all statutory reports/returns/registers to the concerned Govt. departments. MIS of availability, Utilization, Breakdown and specific consumptions Key Stakeholders 1. Head – E&I 2. Mines Manager 3. Head – Health and Safety 4. Site Head

Technical Competencies


    Handle all Trainings ,Implement Training Programmes ,Managing Course Delivery and implementation,Collaboration

Qualifications and Experience


    Educational Qualification - B.E. / B.Tech (Mining) / Diploma with Second Class Certificate of Competency (Coal – Unrestricted) Total Years Experience - 1- 3 Years Seniority - At least 1 Years in Underground Coal Mines
