ServiceNow DevOps Engineer

Core ServiceNow Skills

• IRM, TPRM, and Vendor Risk modules configuration.
  
• DevOps module setup and CI/CD integration.
  
• Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, and REST API experience.
  

Technical Integrations

• Jenkins, GitHub, GitLab, Azure DevOps.
  
• Security tools (e.g., BitSight, Qualys, Tenable).
  
• Scripting in JavaScript and Glide API.
  

Domain Knowledge

• Risk and Compliance frameworks (ISO, SOC2, NIST).
  
• Agile and DevOps principles.
  
• Software supply chain security awareness

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, configure, and implement ServiceNow

  ITBM

  (Project, Portfolio, Demand, Resource, Financial Management) and

  IRM

  (Policy, Risk, Audit, Compliance) modules.
• Develop and maintain

  DevOps pipelines

  for ServiceNow using Git, Jenkins, or equivalent CI/CD tools.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into functional ServiceNow solutions.
  
• Manage

  ServiceNow upgrades, patches, and environment migrations

  .
• Implement

  automated testing, version control, and release management

  for ServiceNow applications.
• Integrate ServiceNow with external systems using

  REST/SOAP APIs, MID Servers, or IntegrationHub

  .
• Work closely with the ServiceNow platform team to ensure

  best practices, governance, and performance optimization

  .
• Provide technical guidance, code reviews, and troubleshooting support for complex ServiceNow issues.
  

Required Skills & Experience:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with

  ServiceNow platform development and administration

  .
• Strong expertise in

  ITBM

  and

  IRM

  modules including configuration, workflows, reports, and dashboards.
• Proficiency in

  JavaScript, Glide scripting, Flow Designer, and Business Rules

  .
• Experience implementing

  DevOps principles

  in ServiceNow: CI/CD, version control (Git), and deployment automation.
• Understanding of

  Agile and ITIL processes

  .
• Experience with

  ServiceNow ATF (Automated Test Framework)

  is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  

Nice to Have:

• ServiceNow

  Certified System Administrator (CSA)

  and

  Certified Implementation Specialist (ITBM or IRM)

  .
• Experience with

  ServiceNow DevOps module

  or

  integration with Azure DevOps / Jenkins

  .
• Knowledge of

  ServiceNow Performance Analytics

  and

  Reporting

  .

Educational Qualification:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  
• ServiceNow certifications preferred.
