Job Description

As a ServiceNow Developer, your role involves developing enhancements and improvements on the ServiceNow platform, particularly focusing on IT Service Management (ITSM) and other ServiceNow applications. You will be engaged in the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment to production. Your responsibilities will encompass strategic initiatives, incremental improvements, and meeting client expectations. Additionally, you will serve as a Trusted Advisor on technical aspects of ServiceNow to product owners and other stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: - Act as a technical expert to deliver strategic projects and improvements within ServiceNow. - Provide technical expertise and support for the ServiceNow platform on both strategic and operational levels. - Serve as a trusted advisor to customers and provide technical leadership and mentorship to the ServiceNow team. - Identify and implement continuous service improvements and contribute to the ServiceNow roadmap. - Ensure timely, efficient, and cost-effective delivery of technical solutions aligned with Global Technology Strategic direction. - Mentor and train development and administration teams on ServiceNow concepts and capabilities. Experience and Qualifications Required: - Possess a total of 10 years of experience with 5-7 years specifically in ServiceNow. - Extensive knowledge in web development concepts and languages. - Proficiency in application architecture and understanding of ServiceNow platform concepts and functionalities. - Prior experience in delivering solutions on ServiceNow for various requirements. - Ability to customize solutions based on demand and adhere to coding standards for robust development. - Strong understanding of ITIL practices and ServiceNow ITSM module, including Change Management, Incident Management, Problem Management, On Call-Scheduling, and Reporting modules. - Hands-on experience with ServiceNow customizations including UI Policy, Client Scripts, Workflows, UI Action, Script Includes, Business Rules, workflow administration, reports, and data import. - Proficiency in web-based languages such as JavaScript, CSS, Jelly, XML, HTML, and Glide. - Experience integrating ServiceNow with other platforms using APIs like SOAP/REST. - Proficient in end-to-end implementation from requirement gathering to delivery. - Experience in reporting, automated testing, and administration aspects of ServiceNow. - Familiarity with agile environment and practices. - Possession of ServiceNow Administration and ITIL V3 Foundation certifications. - Excellent communication and presentation skills.
