Servicenow Developer - Sampro

Role & responsibilities

• Develop and configure ServiceNow SAM Pro modules, including software models, entitlements, normalization, reconciliation, and publisher packs.
  
• Implement and manage integrations with external data sources (discovery tools, procurement, HR, CMDB, SCCM, etc.).
  
• Support lifecycle management workflows for software assets and licenses.
  
• Create and enhance

  Publisher Packs & SaaS Connectors

  for effective license tracking.
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions using ServiceNow best practices.
  
• Configure reports, dashboards, and performance analytics for license usage, compliance, and optimization.
  
• Work on

  software discovery, normalization, and reconciliation

  to ensure accurate license positions.
• Collaborate with SAM Process Owners, Architects, and IT teams to ensure compliance and effective governance.
  
• Perform unit testing, debugging, and provide production support for SAM Pro applications.
  
• Stay updated with ServiceNow releases, especially related to SAM Pro, and recommend enhancements.

Preferred candidate profile

• 7+ years of ServiceNow development experience

  , with at least 4+ years in SAM Pro.
• Strong knowledge of

  ServiceNow ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, CMDB, and Discovery

  .
• Hands-on experience with

  ServiceNow SAM Pro configuration, licensing models, normalization, reconciliation, and compliance reporting

  .
• Experience developing Publisher Packs, SaaS connectors, and lifecycle workflows.
  
• Proficiency in

  JavaScript, Glide API, Flow Designer, and ServiceNow Studio

  .
• Understanding of

  software licensing (Microsoft, Oracle, Adobe, IBM, SaaS models, etc.)

  .
• Knowledge of

  integration protocols

  (REST, SOAP, API) for ServiceNow with external tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in an Agile/DevOps environment.
  
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
