As a ServiceNow ITAM Developer at Coforge, you will be responsible for analyzing business requirements, designing, developing, and implementing solutions on the ServiceNow platform. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of ServiceNow applications and modules, meeting the needs of the organization. Working closely with business analysts and stakeholders, you will understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Your role will involve designing and developing ServiceNow applications and modules while ensuring adherence to best practices and industry standards. You will customize and configure workflows, forms, fields, scripts, business rules, UI policies, and other ServiceNow components. With proven experience in ServiceNow development focusing on IT Asset Management, you will have in-depth knowledge of ITAM concepts including asset discovery, procurement, software license management, and lifecycle management. You will develop and configure ServiceNow modules related to IT Asset Management such as Asset, Configuration, Contract, and Procurement Management. In addition, you will configure and maintain ServiceNow Discovery and Software Asset Management (SAM) modules to ensure accurate asset information and license compliance. Integrating ServiceNow ITAM solutions with other IT systems such as Configuration Management Databases (CMDBs), help desk systems, and procurement systems will be part of your responsibilities. Staying current with industry trends, ServiceNow updates, and ITAM best practices will enable you to continuously optimize asset management capabilities. You will integrate ServiceNow with other systems and applications as required, and develop and maintain integrations using web services, APIs, and other integration technologies. Collaborating with cross-functional teams including system administrators, business analysts, and quality assurance teams, you will deliver high-quality solutions. Gathering feedback from stakeholders and making necessary adjustments to meet evolving business needs will be crucial. You will conduct unit testing and participate in quality assurance activities to ensure the reliability and functionality of developed solutions. Creating and maintaining technical documentation including design specifications, user guides, and test plans is essential. Providing ongoing support and maintenance for ServiceNow applications, troubleshooting, and resolving issues promptly, as well as training end-users and support teams on new features and functionality, are integral parts of your role. To qualify for this position, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Proven experience as a ServiceNow Developer with expertise in ServiceNow platform configurations and customizations is required. A strong understanding of ITSM and business process automation concepts, proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and other web technologies, as well as experience with ServiceNow integrations and web services, are essential. Possessing ServiceNow certification(s) would be a plus. The IT Software Asset Management Sr 1. is responsible for handling the day-to-day platform operations of RSMs SAMPro framework.
