Job Description

As a ServiceNow Consultant, your role involves developing technical solutions on the ServiceNow platform to meet the business requirements of the IT department and beyond. Your responsibilities include: - Developing ITSM & other modules (GRC, SECOPS, HRSD, CSM, ITBM) on the ServiceNow Platform - Adhering to best development practices during support and development - Supporting other developers in integrating existing systems with ServiceNow - Demonstrating strong hands-on experience in ServiceNow, whether in support or development - Creating technical design documents and writing unit test cases - Possessing knowledge of Web Technologies such as XML, HTML, and JavaScript - Hands-on experience in ServiceNow upgrades - Having a deep understanding of the ITSM/GRC/SECOPS/HRSD/CSM/ITBM processes - Showcasing exceptional interpersonal skills for independent work as well as teamwork - Being flexible to work in the second shift in India when required In terms of qualifications, you are expected to have: - Ability to perform effectively in a dynamically changing environment - Prior working experience with the ServiceNow tool - Experience in ServiceNow integration with various solutions using REST API, web services, JSON, and ServiceNow Scripting - Capability to work under pressure and manage tight timelines - Excellent verbal and written communication skills, collaboration abilities, analytical mindset, and presentation skills Moreover, the following certifications are considered must-haves: - Certified System Administrator (Desired) - ITIL Certifications (Desired) - Other Service-Now Certifications (Preferred) Ideally, you should have a background in B-Tech/BCA/MCA with 3 to 8 years of experience in the IT industry. A minimum of 3 years of support/implementation experience on ServiceNow is required, and experience with Service portal will be advantageous. Certifications in ITIL/ServiceNow will be considered an added advantage. You are expected to: - Set up standards for quality control and report performance against those standards - Have exposure to ServiceNow integration protocols with other applications/systems - Possess excellent attention to detail, multitasking abilities, and effective time management skills - Be knowledgeable in web-based development languages, specifically JavaScript and Ajax - Have exposure to ITSM Framework, ITIL, ITOM, HRSD, ITAM, and GRC - Demonstrate excellent communication skills - Be able to join immediately within 0 to 30 days Please note that the details mentioned above are subject to change and modifications as per the requirements of the job role.
