About the Role

We are seeking an experienced

ServiceNow AI Developer

to design, develop, and implement AI-driven features and intelligent workflows within the ServiceNow platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in ServiceNow development and hands-on experience with ServiceNow AI components such as Virtual Agent, Now Assist, NLU, and predictive intelligence. This role requires a deep understanding of AI capabilities within ServiceNow and the ability to build custom AI use cases that enhance user experience and operational efficiency.

Mandatory ServiceNow AI Skills

  • Virtual Agent
  • Now Assist
  • Natural Language Understanding (NLU)
  • AG&T (Agentic AI concepts)
  • Incident Summarization & Custom AI Use Cases (e.g., knowledge article summarization)

Additional Skills

  • General integration experience (preferred)
  • Strong understanding of ITSM (core module mandatory)

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, configure, and implement

    AI features in ServiceNow

    , including Virtual Agent, NLU, Now Assist, and Predictive Intelligence.
  • Customize and enhance core ServiceNow modules such as

    ITSM, CSM, HRSD, or FSM

    using AI-driven capabilities.
  • Build and integrate

    external AI platforms or LLMs

    (OpenAI, Azure AI, etc.) with ServiceNow for advanced AI use cases.
  • Identify opportunities for

    AI automation

    , workflow optimization, and improved user experience across the platform.
  • Configure, tune, and deploy

    Now Assist

    and related LLM-powered features within the ServiceNow ecosystem.
  • Develop and maintain

    Virtual Agent topics, decision trees, and dialogues

    using Flow Designer and topic blocks.
  • Implement, train, and manage

    Predictive Intelligence models

    , improving workflow automation and decision-making.
  • Create and maintain

    custom ML solutions

    within ServiceNow Studio or via external APIs.
  • Ensure proper

    documentation, testing, governance, and compliance

    for all AI/ML features deployed.
  • Stay updated with the latest

    ServiceNow AI releases, trends, and best practices

    , and recommend improvements.

Qualifications & Skills

  • 410 years of experience in ServiceNow development and configuration.
  • Strong hands-on expertise in

    ServiceNow ITSM

    (mandatory).
  • Proven experience in

    Virtual Agent, NLU, Now Assist

    , and other ServiceNow AI/ML capabilities.
  • Good understanding of

    AI/ML concepts

    , predictive intelligence, LLM integration, and workflow automation.
  • Experience integrating ServiceNow with external systems or AI platforms.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work closely with functional teams, developers, and business stakeholders.
