Description
As a Team Lead for Generator Service Engineering at Siemens Energy, your role will be challenging and future-oriented. You will be responsible for the System & Interfaces related topics in generators. Your key responsibilities will include: - Managing daily operations of the group/team, which includes: - Generator Uprate Studies - Interchangeability & Compatibility Studies - Bearings, Seal & Interfacing Assemblies - Generator Mechanical Auxiliaries (e.g., Seal Oil System, Gas System, Stator Water System) - Generator Instrumentation & Control (Service related) - Data Science & Analysis, ML & AI related development in LGN organization - Service Bulletins & BSols - QIS - Serving as the primary point of contact for key clients (internal or external) regarding generator service engineering topics - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to align with relevant business functions in the generator service business - Leading, mentoring, and evaluating a team mix of young, experienced, and diverse engineers - Fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous learning - Communicating technically complex and commercially sensitive information to various internal and external organizations/personnel - Supporting Customer meetings for technical topics To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications: - B.E./B.Tech. in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering with more than 10 years of relevant experience in generator engineering - Strong knowledge of generator products, generator auxiliaries, interfaces, and service management tools - Experience in the generator service business will be an added advantage - Strong leadership, mentorship, and team management abilities - Basic project management skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with intercultural sensitivity to work collaboratively with international stakeholders - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities Siemens Energy offers an exciting opportunity for you to work at the Site in Gurgaon, with possibilities to visit other locations in India and beyond.
