SERVICE & SALES SUPPORT ENGINEER

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Field Service Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional technical support and service to our clients in the field. This role requires a proactive approach to troubleshooting and problem-solving, ensuring that all equipment operates efficiently and effectively. The Field Service Engineer will work closely with customers to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site installations, maintenance, and repairs of equipment as required.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly to minimise downtime for clients.
• Provide training and support to customers on the proper use of equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of service activities, including reports on repairs and maintenance performed.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to improve product performance and customer satisfaction.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while working on-site.
• Develop strong relationships with clients, acting as their primary point of contact for service-related inquiries.

Skills

• Strong technical aptitude with experience in mechanical, electrical, or electronic systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically under pressure.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with clients and team members.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and software relevant to the industry.
• A valid driver's licence is essential for travel to client locations.
• Previous experience in a field service role is advantageous but not mandatory; a willingness to learn is key.
